It has come to my notice that there is a situation that has come up whereby I-1 has decided belatedly, to withdraw from the final race on Saturday. Apparently there was aport/starboard incident, that upon further review by I-1, it was decided that withdrawal by I-1 is to be the proper course of action..

 

There was no contact, damage or protest filed however I-1 has formally retired from race 5. The protest committee has been been disbanded and is in three different states, but with the concurrence of the PRO I am willing to accept the belated retirement. without a hearing.. I will make the assumption that the OA will inform the competitors and arrange the exchange of trophies. The final updated scores are attached. No further protests, changes in scoring will be accepted other than those resulting from appeals to US Sailing.
